Agency ownership
Government customers retain ownership of their agency records, configuration data, and official government records unless a written agreement expressly provides otherwise. Fast Dial does not claim ownership of government customer records.
Fast Dial's role
Fast Dial generally acts as a service provider, processor, contractor, or vendor. The agency determines authorized purposes, users, retention requirements, records classifications, disclosure obligations, and the legal basis for processing.
Public records, discovery, and legal holds
Agency records may be subject to public-records or freedom-of-information laws, subpoenas, discovery, litigation holds, and statutory retention schedules. The agency is generally responsible for responding to requests for its records. Fast Dial supports the agency as required by the written agreement and applicable law.
Retention choices
- Voice audio follows a 30-day rolling deletion default.
- Transcript retention is governed by the agency agreement.
- Longer transcript retention is available through the additional storage option and is documented in the agency order or agreement.
- Legal and agency preservation holds override ordinary deletion until released.
Restricted-data boundary
Unless an agency agreement expressly authorizes the use and documents the required safeguards, EMT919 should not be treated as a CAD, RMS, NCIC interface, criminal-justice-information repository, evidence-management system, or HIPAA-regulated medical-record system. Agencies remain responsible for deciding what information may be submitted under their policy and legal requirements.
Requests for agency records
If Fast Dial receives a request for government customer data, it will generally direct the requester to the agency or notify the agency where legally permitted and contractually required.
