Language coverage
31 AI languages. 300+ with live interpreters.
EMT919 supports 31 AI languages and 300+ languages through configured live interpretation. Other languages can route to a qualified live interpreter on the same service path when the agency selects that option.
Availability boundary: Language availability, live-interpreter coverage, response time, certification scope, and escalation behavior depend on the agency configuration and contracted provider. Confirm the required languages during review.

When a live interpreter joins
Configured handoff: When in-call handoff is enabled, the responder can request a live interpreter on the same service path without beginning a second agency workflow. Exact behavior depends on the agency configuration and contracted provider.
Responder request
The responder can request a live interpreter when the configured service includes live escalation.
Language outside AI coverage
The service can route to the agency's selected live-interpreter option when the requested language is not supported by AI-first mode.
Policy-controlled interaction
Agency policy may require a qualified live interpreter for legal, medical, disciplinary, or other high-stakes communication.
Audio or interpretation difficulty
Noise, overlapping speech, uncommon terminology, or unclear output should trigger the agency's approved escalation or alternate path.
Confirm your language needs
Bring your most frequent languages, less-common languages, call types, interpreter policy, and existing provider arrangement to the agency briefing. We will map each requirement to AI-first, EMT Live Translation, or your current interpreter provider.
